Term 3 is a big term for our transition to high school program. On Wednesday the 15th of September, students from Years 4/5/6 visited four different high schools including: a Catholic school; a Public school; a Montessori school and; a Steiner school as a part of our transition to high school program.
These visits allowed students to see a cross section of schools. Students had the opportunity to compare and contrast and ask questions of our tour guides.
The excursion gave our students real insight into high school options and has sparked a lot of conversation. This conversation and further research has continued both at school and at home.
“The excursion helped us to see what different schools are like.”

“I have been trying to decide between two different schools and the high school visits helped me to make a choice.”
